Selah

“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word” (Psalm 119:9).

I commend to you today a new blog published by a group of young people who are seeking to take this command seriously. Selah, or the Selah Psalm Blog, is edited by Jonathan Kim and Cameron Adams, young men I had the privilege of pastoring during most of their high school years.

Jonathan, who is graduating high school this year, is quiet by nature, but he was and is always thinking. About a year ago, the Lord laid hold of his heart in a new way as the Lord convicted him in several ways regarding his faith and life through the Theological Foundations for Youth program. Cameron is also a man after God’s own heart and he too benefited from TFY along with Jonathan. Though I never had the benefit of that program, the Lord did similar kind of work in my own heart at about the same age. It is a great joy to see the Lord continuing to be faithful in and to another generation.

Jonathan, Cameron, and nearly twenty friends will be working together. You can read about their purposes here, and read the first post here. Enjoy!

  1. Love these new Bloggers! Faith builders! So exciting to see young people to take our place!
They only thing that made it difficult to share them was the lack of ways to share! They only had Google+ which isn’t so easy to do, no Twitter which also goes out to Facebook, nor a like button. Anyway, I tweeted out my love for them and I pray more find encouragment from them! Congrats on being Moses to these young Johuas!
